Biography
Coach Greg has been wrestling since his freshman year Keyport High School. In his time there, he would set the school record for most wins in school history, highest state place winner, was a 2 time district champ, region champ and then finished 3rd in the state. After graduating High School, he was awarded a full scholarship to wrestle at Division I Rider University, where he started all 4 years while. While in college, he was a D1 National Qualifier. After college, Greg served as an assistant wrestling coach at Keyport HS for 3 years, and has transitioned into BJJ and MMA over the past few years amassing a Professional MMA record of 5-0 and is the reigning CFFC Heavyweight Champion. Greg has been training his ground game here at Bayshore BJJ since we opened in 2019, and is constantly reminds us all that he is “just a blue belt” in jiu jitsu. In early 2022, Greg became our head wrestling coach, and has been consistently working with our students to develop their wrestling skills and hard nosed mentality. Greg also loves the color pink.
