Biography
I’m Evan Sharp and I’m a Purple Belt with over 5 years of training. Prior to my arrival at Bayshore BJJ I trained under Professor Kurt Pellegrino and Professor Jay Regalbuto.
I’m a husband and have 3 amazing daughters. Two of which I’m very lucky to have on the mats with me daily. It’s helped create a special bond with them and ton of memories. I have been a kids instructor for over 3 years. Being a parent has been one of the most important parts of helping me become a good instructor. I know how to get the best potential out of the kids while keeping it fun so they always want to come back to learn more. While helping children reach for their goals in Jiu-Jitsu competition, I’ve accomplished some of my own.
I am an IBJJF Silver medalist in Gi and Nogi at the American National, a Silver medalist in Gi at the NY Pro and a Bronze Medalist in Gi and Absolute at the NY Open.
