Biography
Hello my name is Casey (Caser) Annuzzi. I am currently a purple belt under professor Joe, who I’ve trained with for the past five years. I’ve been in law enforcement for the past eight years. Being a law enforcement officer I have learned a lot! What I find most important is our duty to train. Train for your safety, the safety of the public, and your ability to help those in need! Going through three separate police academies throughout the state, I have realized that all law enforcement must make the transition into adopting Jiu Jitsu to ensure safer communities. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to compete, but am interested in changing that once tournaments recover from Covid-19.
My favorite part of Jiu Jitsu it’s the ability to better yourself on & off the mat. Whether you are a third degree black belt or a first day white belt, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prepares you to accept the fact that you will never know everything. Because Jiu Jitsu is constantly changing & evolving there are new techniques being developed daily. When training, you will quickly realize that the only way to improve is to continuously work on your skills daily. By taking it one step at a time and acknowledging your achievements you will become better & stronger!
